Youth Center Grand Opening

This past Sunday, we had the incredible privilege of celebrating the Grand Opening of the Youth Center at the International Evangelical Church (IEC). It has been an exciting journey to get to this point, and we are in awe of all that God has done to make this project a reality. From breaking ground in November 2021 to completing the project in just two years, we’ve seen God’s provision in profound ways. We’re grateful to everyone who played a role in making this youth center a beacon of hope for the next generation.

Parents and Youth attended the Grand Opening

This Youth Center is truly unique—there is nothing else like it in the nation. It’s designed to be a space where young people can gather, learn, grow in their faith, and find community. In a country where youth often lack safe, this space is truly unique.

Gratitude and Prayer Requests

As we reflect on all that has been accomplished this year, we want to take a moment to share some of the things we are most grateful for, as well as a few prayer requests as we look ahead to the future.

Gratitude:

  • We are thankful for the faithful team that worked hard to complete the Youth Center and make it a space where lives will be transformed.

  • We are grateful for the support of our global community, whose prayers, financial contributions, and encouragement helped bring this vision to life.

  • We are praising God for the impact the Youth Center is already having on the lives of young people in our church and community.

  • We are thankful for the growth of our youth ministry, the new opportunities for outreach, and the way God has been at work in our congregation.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the youth who will be coming through the doors of the Youth Center. May they encounter Jesus in a powerful way and be equipped to live out their faith in every area of their lives.

  • Pray for continued wisdom and guidance for our leadership as we navigate the next steps for ministry and projects in 2024.

  • Pray for unity and strength as we continue to serve and minister together as a church family, growing in our faith and impacting our community.

  • Pray for the Gospel to advance in the next generation
