The Winstead Family live in Germany (as of August 2026) where Steve serves as Pastor at Black Forest Christian Fellowship. Steve and Margaret have been serving among the nations for the past 25 years, with a passion for strengthening local churches and making disciples around the world.
Before moving to Germany, the Winsteads served in Ethiopia for 5 ½ years. Steve served as the Pastor of the International Evangelical Church (IEC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, shepherding a diverse congregation representing more than 60 nationalities. Before moving overseas, Steve led more than 70 international mission trips through Downline Ministries as the Global Director and at Harvest Church (Memphis, TN) as Missions and Teaching Pastor, equipping believers to make disciples and helping cultivate healthy churches across the globe.
The Winsteads are excited to be moving to Germany to serve at Black Forest Christian Fellowship. Steve and Margaret have four sons. Their oldest son, Sam, is a junior at Samford University, and Noah is a freshman at Georgia Tech. Ben (11th grade) and Daniel ("Bus," 7th grade) will attend Black Forest Academy.
