Send Africa Conference

Mobilizing Missionaries to Reach Africa’s Unreached Desert Regions

From September 17-20, 2024, the International Evangelical Church (IEC) hosted the groundbreaking Send Africa Conference in partnership with the East Africa Sending Agency. Over 250 church leaders from Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Kenya gathered with a shared mission: to send missionaries from Africa to reach the unreached desert areas of the continent.

The conference highlighted the urgent need to focus on desert regions, where many communities remain untouched by the Gospel. Through inspiring discussions and partnerships, leaders explored innovative ways to overcome the challenges of missionary work in these harsh, remote areas.

The event was a powerful reminder of Africa’s growing role in global missions, as churches across the continent unite to send the Good News to those who have never heard. With continued collaboration and prayer, the vision of a thriving church in Africa’s desert regions is becoming a reality.

Let us continue to pray for these efforts, trusting that the Church will shine brightly in the darkest corners of Africa.
