International Sunday 2025
On Sunday, March 30, 2025, the sanctuary of the International Evangelical Church was filled with the worship of the nations. Over 1,500 people from more than 50 countries came together to praise God as one body in Christ — a vibrant expression of the global Church and a beautiful reminder that God’s Kingdom knows no borders.
Our worship was led by a diverse team of musicians from many nations, lifting up songs in English, joined by our French Choir and Amharic Choir, filling the room with joyful praise. Prayers rose in Korean, and the Word of God was read in Indonesian, French, Czech, Swahili, Filipino, Amharic, and English — a living picture of Revelation 7:9.
From Ethiopia to Brazil, South Korea to Sierra Leone, Canada to Cameroon, and now with friends from Egypt, Scotland, and England, the nations stood side-by-side in worship. It was a powerful moment of unity in diversity — a celebration of culture under the cross.
After the service, the fellowship continued with an international feast! Tables were overflowing with dishes from across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond. The food was as rich and varied as the cultures represented, and the joy of community was shared around every table.
We are grateful to every individual and family who helped make this day so special — from those who sang and served to those who cooked and cleaned, and especially to the Spirit who brought us all together.
What a day of worship, witness, and wonder. What a God we serve.
