Prayer Requests

Some specific prayer requests:

• Pray for housing in Ethiopia as we are still working out details.

• Pray for passports to be returned on time. We had to renew three of the boys passports and the post office said it could take 5 months. We have been blessed to have some friends helping to speed this up. - ANSWERED!

• Pray for visas for working and living in Ethiopia to be received on time.

• Pray for us to be able to sell cars. - ONE CAR SOLD!

• Pray for our emotions as we are both excited and sad about this transition. We desire to leave and grieve well.

• Pray for the International Evangelical Church where Steve will serve as lead pastor.

• Pray for Bingham Academy where the boys will attend school.

Margaret listed these requests in a recent blog. Please be praying for our Family. 

• Faith- Our faith to grow. Ephesians 1:17-19 and Ephesians 3:14-20, Colossians 1:9-10

• Friends - Our boys to find friends and be good friends in Ethiopia and maintain valuable ones here in Memphis II Timothy 2:22, Colossians 3:12

• Food- We will need to eat!!! I will need to learn new ways to cook and feed all my growing boys 

• Fun- We want to have fun together as a family and for our boys to experience that serving God is the greatest joy and adventure. 

• Family- We are leaving my parents and sister and her family behind in Memphis. Steve’s family is a few hours away from Memphis. Leaving family will be hard for all of us.

• Fruitfulness- We are praying that by God’s grace the gospel message will bear much fruit in the ministry that He has set before us.

• Financial- We are praying that God will lead His people to join us through financial support.
